As Christmas draws near, Christmas markets are emerging in Paris. Many appear to perfect the magic of Christmas in the City of Light and allow you to better prepare the big day. The program includes entertainment, food stalls, and the ability to do some shopping for gifts or decorations.

To help you discover the most beautiful Christmas markets in Paris and its surroundings, we selected those who most caught our attention.

The Champs-Elysées’ Christmas market

The market and the Christmas village des Champs-Elysées take place between the Champs Elysees and the Place de la Concorde. This is around 180 chalets that will be held this Christmas market, offering stands on foreign handicraft, snacks and sweets. Artists from all over France will present their works. It will also be possible to make a large number of activities as a pony ride, different carousel, the famous ferris wheel at the Place de la Concorde, the giant ice rink and the famous funfair at the Grand Palais.

You will find in the heart of the Christmas village, ephemeral restaurants (oyster bar, champagne bar, tea rooms …)

The market of Disney Village

So for this one I call the most motivated of you, as small exception to the rule, we leave Paris to go to the end of the RER line A in 77 at Disneyland Park Paris. Don’t worry, no need to pay the park to see the market, as it is located in the village of Disney, outside the park, where you can enjoy restaurants, arcades and shops memories.

But what interests us is the Christmas market. It is simple, it is pure gluttony: stand of delicious chocolates, squeegees, marshmallows… as for other markets? Not quite, because in the country of Disney, everything is magical and delicious!
